Joe Signore, President of Tapestry Senior Housing Management LLC and FSLA Board Member, meeting with Florida Senator Rick Scott in Washington, D.C.

Last week, Joe Signore traveled to Washington, D.C. to advocate for the senior living industry during the Argentum Public Policy Fly-In.

During the visit, Joe met with Florida Senator Rick Scott to discuss key issues impacting senior living communities and the growing needs of the aging population. Senator Scott is currently sponsoring bipartisan legislation called the Social Engagement Network Initiatives for Older Adults (Senior Act), which aims to help seniors stay connected and reduce loneliness and isolation.

This bipartisan initiative highlights the importance of supporting older adults through stronger community engagement and multigenerational living solutions.

Joe attended the event as a Board Member of the Florida Senior Living Association (FSLA), representing Tapestry Senior Living and advocating for policies that support seniors, caregivers, and senior housing communities across the country.

As the senior population continues to grow, industry leaders are working with policymakers to ensure solutions are in place to support seniors now and in the future.
