This week, the Moon Township Public Library visited Tapestry, and the Golden Thread residents enjoyed a heartwarming fall craft session! Together, we created festive tissue paper pumpkins full of color, texture, and creativity. 🍂✂️
It was a joy to spend time connecting, crafting, and celebrating the season with such a wonderful group. Thank you to Nicole from the programs and outreach department for crafting with us— we loved every minute and can't wait for you to visit again! 💛📚

🐾 A Wild Friday at Tapestry! 🐾
Yesterday, Tapestry Senior Living had some very special guests — straight from the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium’s Animal Antics Program!🦎🐢🐍🕷🐹
Our residents got an up-close look at five incredible ambassador animals:
🟢 A curious snake
🟤 A speedy little armadillo
🕷 A fuzzy (but friendly!) tarantula
🤎 An adorable guinea pig
💚 And a wise old tortoise
It was a fascinating and fun-filled afternoon full of learning, laughter, and lots of wide eyes and warm hearts. We’re so grateful to the Pittsburgh Zoo for bringing this one-of-a-kind experience to our community!

This week, our residents put a geometric twist on fall decorating by making 3D pentagonal paper pumpkins! ✂️🔶
These creations weren’t just fun to make — they were a wonderful way to welcome the season with color, creativity, and a little mental workout too! 🍁🧠
